Kapour ($3.50) will carry winning black type form into Thursday’s feature race and remains outright favourite in 2015 Grafton Cup betting markets with Ladbrokes.com.au ahead of Bonfire ($5) and Reigning ($7).

Will Kapour justify favouritism and win the 2015 Grafton Cup or will one of his many talented rivals find the line in the clear?

Danchai ($10)

Danchai has returned to racing in exceptional form this time, has been charged with carrying only 55.5kgs in the 2015 Grafton Cup and has been confirmed to be partnered by leading hoop Hugh Bowman. Running fifth in the TAB.com.au Handicap (1600m) first-up on May 6th, Danchai booked a ticket north when finishing third amongst classy competition in the Eremein Handicap (1800m) at Rosehill on May 30th and immediately warranted the trip when taking out the Listed Ipswich Cup (2150m) on June 13th. Having since run on for a credible third in the Listed Winter Cup, the Authorized gelding is sure to be offered a great chance of ideal running position from barrier 2 and is more than worth consideration for a Grafton Cup bet at current odds.

Shoreham ($9)

A proven performer over the distance, a move to the stables of Gerald Ryan appears to have breathed life into Shoreham’s racing career and the five-year-old undoubtedly has the form and class for a first three finish in the 2015 Grafton Cup. Posting three wins and ten minors through 34 starts for Saab Hasan, the Reset gelding received a brief freshen-up after a luckless eighth in the Listed Andrew Ramsden Stakes (3200m) on May 23rd and finished a close second in the Group 3 Tattersall’s Cup (2400m) on the Gold Coast on June 20th. More than capable of carrying only 56.5kgs, Shoreham will be partnered by Brenton Avdulla and could very well receive the run of the race from barrier 4.

Noisy Ocean ($34)

Noisy Ocean was unable to make much of a competitive impact in the PMP Limited Plate (1600m) last time out, but will relish a step-up in distance for the 2015 Grafton Cup, will carry only 54kgs and will be partnered by Tommy Berry. Claiming ten wins and a further eleven minors through 59 career starts so far, the Shovhog gelding has won two of his six starts this time and is a proven performer over course and distance having finished third in the 2014 edition of the Grafton Cup.
